Stopped off when we reached Inverness. A lovely man showed us to our pitch. A little pricey but the view of the bay was amazing. Great service shower rooms, toilets and fresh water on site.
My girlfriend and I stayed in a static home at the park. This was our first stay here and we were really happy with everything. The staff were very helpful with our late arrival and both friendly and welcoming when we spoke with them over …
Stayed here for one night on our roadtrip around Scotland, Easy to book and decently priced however the facilities were dated and not the best we experienced on our trip. The facility block was enclosed and the showers hot enough but the …
Fabulous campsite.
Visited in mh motorhome with husband for a long weekend break. Good value for money. Very friendly site manager. Clean shower, toilet & laundry facilities with plenty of hot water. Elsan point. Fabulous views across the Beauly Firth. Lovely natural environment. Nice play Park and grass games area.
I live nearby. It's a great place to walk your dog through.
All jokes aside, the site is well kept, welcoming, well equipped, and offers stunning veiws and walks nearby. Nice and close to Inverness with a bus stop at the top of the access road to save taking your own vehicle into town.
Staff seem very friendly as does the owner. Burger van operational during peak season serving simple food. 😋 A stones throw from Bunchrew House Hotel should you wish to treat yourselves to a nice evening meal.
I have been visiting this place for ten years. I usually book one of the wonderful caravans for a week and always leave wanting to stay longer.
Located 10 minutes drive from Inverness centre the park is a hidden quiet oasis on the banks of the the Beauly Firth with views towards the mountains. The location represents an ideal spot to take advantage of the beautiful countryside far and wide. During Autumn the open roads make it easy to take in at least half of the North Coast 500 as well as exploring Inverness.
The immaculate park has a variety of spaciously scattered residential homes, tourist caravans, lodges and camping. There are plenty of facilities on site including a shop, laundry room, showering and loos. There is parking alongside lodges, caravans and camping pitches.
The modern caravans themselves are always clean and tidy with every conceivable necessity including fireplace, fully fitted kitchen and excellent shower room and WC. A short walk along the waterside leads you to a sumptuous Hotel which has a fab bar and restaurant and is open to non residents.
Simon and Sam could not be more accommodating and will give you a warm welcome.
I thoroughly recommend Bunchrew Caravan Park!
We booked after seeing the lovely photos online, however on arrival we were disappointed. On entering the site there are several untidy rundown holiday homes with old mattresses against the windows with broken fences and decking. We made …
Great little campground. We used the laundry and it was simple but adequate. The bathrooms were clean. They let us book last minute and that was a huge bonus for us. We thanked them for allowing us to book last minute. It was a huge help to us. Would absolutely stay here again and will do so if we have the opportunity.
Website looked fantastic....reality.....eh no!|Toilet and shower block (espically the shower block needs totally refurbished) My husband came out of shower feeling like he needed another. |I had to keep pulling the water chain every 30 …
One night spent by two adults in a campervan.
This is a rather large familiar campsite just outside Inverness. There's lots of space and it's placed in a beautiful spot.
Although it was rather busy when we were around, most of the campers there were reasonably polite and clean. Unfortunately, the shower and toilet block isn't large enough for the amount of people camping there, and it could use some upgrading.
There's a bus to Inverness every now and then and a taxi ride to the city is around 13£.
Overall this is a convenient spot for those who want to stay close to Inverness for a reasonable price. There were a lot of families and kids around.
